Weimaraner Information

WeimaranerThe Weimaraner is the type of dog who will make your head turn! He’s been called a silver ghost for his sleek, stealth-like body; gray, ethereal coloring; and striking blue or hazel eyes. His lean, athletic body provides him with great speed; combine this plus his strong sense of smell, intelligence and tenacity, and you’ve got an excellent hunting dog.

The Weimaraner’s history dates back to the early 1800s in Germany, where he is believed to have descended from the Bloodhound. With proper training to correctly harness his energy, the Weimaraner makes an excellent family dog. He adores being part of a pack and is full of abundant love for his family!
