A unique dog, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen stands extremely low to the ground with tiny, stubby legs holding him up. His coat is wiry and rough with a slightly disheveled look. Along with these unique characteristics, he has a sweet doggy face with kind eyes, a big button nose and a happy smile.
As far as his origin goes, this breed is one of many small hounds dating back to ancient France.
