Neapolitan Mastiff Information

Neapolitan MastiffIf you had to describe the Neapolitan Mastiff in two words, they would be “large” and “wrinkled.” The breed weighs in at 130-150 pounds for males and 110-130 pounds for females. The dog’s massive body is offset by loose skin draped all over his body, most notably around his giant, blocky head.

As far as personality goes, the Neapolitan Mastiff is a dignified, loyal dog that makes an excellent member of any family – as long as you have the room! For more than 2,000 years the breed was used as a guard dog on Italian farms and estates, and if you take one home, he’ll serve as your loyal protector!

All dogs have their own personality and unique training, causing them to differ slightly from these breed stats. However, please let us know if we made an error in the stats, we appreciate your help!
